This has been such an out-of-routine week for me, but somehow super refreshing. Did the shorter week mess with your routine and headspace too?
I only worked in the SNF 2 days this week, but still managed to keep busy with other work-related tasks. Plus I spent a solid chunk of this week doing all of those cleaning, organizing, and home resetting things that I’m itching to do in the late spring.
We’ve got some friends coming into town this weekend, and then it’s back to a more typical routine on Monday.
Got any plans this weekend?
If you missed out on anything from this week, or are looking for some fun ways to connect to the OT community, I’ve got it all compiled here.

Potential Signs of Pain in Individuals Living with Dementia
Some Great Therapy Products (links non-affiliate):
We’ve been talking quite a bit about evaluations this week, and I’ve mentioned my Free Evaluation Kit that offers some resources to help tailor an evaluation to meet the needs of someone living with dementia. You can grab the whole kit here!
I was interviewed on the Occupied Podcast last week, and it was such a great conversation about all things memory, memory care, and mind health! You can listen to the whole episode here.
Someone to Follow if You Don’t Already:
@seniorlivingstories – tons of sweet stories and scenes from some great older adults that just make my heart melt
@activities_for_dementia – an awesome bank of resources to use with individuals living with dementia
@nurse.hadley – a hospice nurse who just released a book and who shares great insight into end-of-life care (something we actually encounter a lot as therapists in long-term care)
Have a great weekend!
