Happy Official Summer! We’re talking about work-life balance today. More specifically, some intentions and aspirations (both personal and professional) for the summer. I’m going to be honest and say that summer is my least favorite of all the seasons (I know… I know…). I’m just not made for the heat. But I’m very much trying to be intentional about prioritizing the good in each season, instead of just surviving through each week, you know?
Professionally, I’ve got a few summer aspirations in mind:
- Pursue more outdoor options for treatment sessions
- Create more Treatment Planning and Documentation Kits to share with you
- Collaborate with other therapist/creators to share all the knowledge and further learn from/support one another
- Move my own body 2-3 times per week, intentionally, to better care for and assist my Residents and Patients each day
- Get the bulk of my CEUs done for my license renewal at the end of the year (I’ve been using ContinuED)
And of course, we’ve got some Personal Life bucket list items:
- Take a New Hampshire road trip to somewhere new
- Perfect our lavender lemonade recipe
- Try a new local ice cream shop (if you’ve been around, we completed the NH Ice Cream Trail last year and want to try at least one new stop from this year’s trail)
- Go on a family vacation
- Eat a whole lobster by the ocean
- Start attending a small group with members of our church
Are you a Bucket List person? I’d love to hear your top aspiration or hope for this season!
