My Fall Bucket List: 2023

It’s not officially fall yet, but it’s after Labor Day, so we can talk about it. I love the fall so much. There’s a lot of nostalgia in it for me, and it opens to the door to my favorite 6 months of the year! The season always seems to go by faster than any other, so we’re trying to be intentional with it.

Professionally, I’ve got a handful of goals for the fall:

  1. Maintain consistent clinical work in the SNF setting 4 days a week.
  2. Share a weekly treatment idea or demonstration (alongside regularly scheduled content)
  3. Collaborate with other therapist/creators to share all the knowledge and further learn from/support one another
  4. Get more engaged with fellow therapists on Instagram
  5. Renew my State Practice License (I’ve got half a credit left!)

And of course, we’ve got some Personal Life bucket list items too:

  1. Spend time in The Word everyday
  2. Move my body daily
  3. Eat some hometown apples (preferably honeycrisp!)
  4. Take a leaf-peeping road trip (particularly for some covered bridges)
  5. Shop a few general stores
  6. Spend more time with family and friends

Are you a Bucket List person? I’d love to hear your top aspiration or hope for this season!

I’m Allison

I’ve been an occupational therapist for six years, and have spent all of those years working in skilled nursing. This community is a space where we collaborate and share all things dementia care, skilled nursing, adult rehabilitation, and long-term care. I’m so glad you’re here.
