The best month of the year is almost over, and I’m not sure my brain fully comprehends that. I love October so much! Not because of spooky season, but because of how bright and crisp and perfect the autumn feels during the month of October.
I also love how it symbolizes beauty in change. How God chose to make the world beautiful as the green of summer literally dies to give the roots of each tree rest through the winter. There’s something beautiful and real and gracious in it.
We’ve got a relaxed autumn weekend ahead of us, with time to rest. I think we might pop over to another apple orchard just for the fun of it after church on Sunday (provided the weather looks good).
If you missed out on anything from this week, or are looking for some fun ways to connect to the OT community, I’ve got it all compiled here.
